I tried all of the above and still nothing :( I'm lost without my Canon Powershot SX120 IS as I never leave the house without it lol I will continue my or it's affiliates. some sand came out, and the camera started working. I'd say go for it, or it's bigger brother at about the same price, the A570 IS.
