I could see where my lens was stuck so I took the advice on this website to gently pull and twist and it finally popped back into place, I heard the I held it upside down and sprayed it which is just like blowing in lubricant with force. just started getting E18. My co-worker and I spent about 30 minutes this morning trying all 7 of the fixes on your list, to no avail. None of these methods involve opening the camera, although some have potential to cause other damage to the camera if excessively done. If it's too costly to repair, and you have no other option, you might want to consider retrying the last too fixes (tapping the camera, and forcing the lens). I say that they should be made stronger and to be able to take a few drops in their life. this content Like everything else manufactured this day and age, digital cameras are no different....its all over-priced,disposable junk.
