How do I fix it? Secondly if you have an odd fault like E16 buy the service manual it only costs $4 online download. I finally fixed it by holding the "OK" button and turning the camera on. Thrown in dustbin (after all self fix efforts failed). weblink

THEN I CHECKED ON HERE TO SEE IF MY STRATEGY WAS ON HERE. have always taken great care with camera, no dirt, no dropping. I managed by push the lens in the direction that there is the larger gap between the lens and it housing and set the lens back to its parked position. I know mine got dirt in the lens.

hey i have a kodak easyshare m753, and like a week ago, it wouldnt retract the lens and was stuck like that. In desperation, I gently twisted the smaller lens barrel clockwise (looking at the lens front on) just after switching on the camera and hey presto, the lens motor whirred into life!I Here is what the lens error (E18 error on Canon) looks like. so thank you!!
