I did not get an error but after zooming to any extent, I was not able to zoom out. I then decided to recharge my batteries, and reinstall them and see what happens. Now my only problem is my memory card. Maybe that will let you get under whatever gigantic clod of grit is wedging the lens tight.

Recommend closely looking at the lens barrel when it's extended. Remove the memory card and keep it removed, then install the new batteries. Blowing compressed air into the lens did the trick! There is a slight variation of this technique. It did something similar when I fort got it, but it went away. Tonight when I found it, I tried all your tricks (cleaning around lens with thin piece of plastic, compressed air, turning the lens with pliers) and the lens is working again. check over here January 28, 2008 at 3:18 AM Sara said...
