It may be nothing more than a low battery.Recharge the camera battery....... When I turn it on it makes a very high pitch sound and you can hear its trying to move the lens, it moves a tiny bit then the error comes many people seem to solve the problem by simply giving the camera a good solid whack on a hard surface or blowing compressed air on it.
